iOS 8.0.2

iOS 8.0 のローンチから１週間で iOS 8.0.1 がリリースされたかと思いきや、いきなり電話が出来なくなったり指紋認証のYouch IDが効かなくなるなどスマートフォンとしては致命的な欠陥を抱えており、改善された iOS8.0.2 の準備を急ぐ一方で従来の iOS 8.0 へダウングレードする方法までオフィシャルで開示された。

それから１日で早くも 「iOS 8.0.2」 がリリースされたが “こんどこそ本当にアップデートして大丈夫なのか？” と不安を抱いているユーザーも多いはず。
そこで、iOS 8.0.2 では何が改善されているのかその内容確認してみた。

This release contains improvements and bug fixes, including:

•  Fixes an issue in iOS 8.0.1 that impacted cellular network connectivity and Touch ID on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
•  Fixes a bug so HealthKit apps can now be made available on the App Store
•  Addresses an issue where 3rd party keyboards could become deselected when a user enters their passcode
•  Fixes an issue that prevented some apps from accessing photos from the Photo Library
•  Improves the reliability of the Reachability feature on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
•  Fixes an issue that could cause unexpected cellular data usage when receiving SMS/MMS messages
•  Better support of Ask To Buy for Family Sharing for In-App Purchases
•  Fixes an issue where ringtones were sometimes not restored from iCloud backups
•  Fixes a bug that prevented uploading photos and videos from Safari

これが iOS 8.0.2 へアップデートする際に表示されるアップデート内容である。

最上段の “キャリアネットワーク（電話）とTouch ID問題の改善” 以外については、iOS 8.0.1 と同様のようです。

僕も先程 iPhone6 を iOS 8.0.2 へアップデートしてみましたが、いまのところ特に問題は無さそうです。
様子を見るのも良いかも知れませんが、電話とTouchID問題以外の細かな点もいくつか修正されていますので、近いうちにアップデートされてみてはいかがでしょうか。
